Welcome to my blog! In this blog I will be discussing my interests in murder cases. I will be talking about  many topics related to murder cases. I really find watching biographies and TV shows about murder cases interesting. I started watching Law and Order with my mom when I was 10 years old. Something about that show really interested me. Maybe it was the suspense? Every time it was different case, I was always trying to figure out who was the murderer, or the person responsible for whatever the case was about. After that show I discovered  one of my favorite shows called Cold Case. This show is about a Philadelphia Police Department that specialized in cold cases. What are cold cases? A cold case is a crime or an accident that has not yet been fully solved and is still being investigated. After I learned what the show was about I was hooked. I remember watching certain episodes that I found so sad that they actually made me cry. To be fair I cry during most sad endings, or even endings that were so happy it made me cry of happiness.

After watching these kinds of shows I started watching documentaries about actual cases.They were really interesting and it was crazy because it would freak me out to think that things like the ones on the shows actually happened in the real world (I was probably in middle school) and as much as finding all this out freaked me out I couldn't stop looking up documentaries or articles about these things. Recently I have been doing some research about these cases for this blog and  I have found a lot of cases, as well as biographies for some of the most infamous murderers. I will also be researching what causes people to d these things. Their are a lot of factors that can go into this like how they were raised, their relationships with the victims, childhoods, mental state and even the media. I honestly thought this would be a weird and creepy topic to research about at first, but I promise you its only because Law and Order and Cold Case have made me so interested in these things. If you think about it, it's my mom's fault for watching Law and Order around me in the first place.
